What the service is

Offix is a marketplace that facilitates agreements between clients and service providers. We are not a party to that agreement and we do not perform the services ourselves; our role is to enable contact, contracting and payment.

Your account

You must be legally able to enter into a contract to create an account.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your details, for keeping your password confidential, and for all activity under your account.
Service providers are subject to identity and business verification before they can operate on the platform.

Orders and pricing

Prices are shown before confirmation and may include a platform commission and delivery fees.
Some services allow negotiation on price, time or quantity; an offer becomes binding once accepted.
The provider undertakes to deliver the service at the agreed time and to the agreed specification.

Payment

Payments are processed by an external payment provider. The platform collects the amount and transfers the provider's share after deducting the published commission.

Cancellation and penalties

Cancelling before a provider accepts carries no fee.
Cancelling after work has begun may carry a fee, which is shown to you before you confirm.
Providers may incur penalties for unjustified delay, repeated cancellation, or failing to meet the agreed specification.

Refunds

You may request a refund where a service was not delivered or was delivered contrary to specification. Requests are reviewed and the decision is communicated with its reason. Approved amounts are returned via the original payment method.

Content and conduct

You retain rights to the content you upload and grant us a licence to display it within the platform in order to provide the service.
Content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, or infringes the rights of others is prohibited.
Circumventing the platform or using it for unlawful purposes is prohibited.
We act on reports of violating content and may remove it or suspend the responsible account.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these terms, suspected fraud, or harm to other users. We tell you the reason and give you a route to object where that is possible.

Deleting your account

You may delete your account at any time from the in-app settings or from the account deletion page. Some financial records may be retained to meet a legal obligation, as described in the privacy policy.

Limitation of liability

The platform is provided as is and we make reasonable efforts to keep it available, without guaranteeing uninterrupted operation. Our liability for any service delivered by a provider is limited to the extent permitted by law; responsibility for delivering the service remains with the provider.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The last updated date and version number are shown at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the version in force.
